Holden Street Theatres Inc. is committed to creating and supporting Local South Australian theatre of the highest quality.

OUR purpose is to advance culture by producing and presenting professional theatre productions, to engage in related activities, to promote and encourage participation in theatre, to generate employment for theatre practitioners in South Australia and to promote fellowship among the arts community.

How does it all work are you a Venue? A Professional company? Pro-Am? Amateur? what???

Holden Street covers it all.

• We are a Not For Profit registered Charity and you can donate through the Australian Cultural Fund.

• We present and create professional theatre from Creative Developement of new work through to re-imagining and staging classic and contemporary plays.

• We have multiple spaces for Hire.

• We tour in work from around the world and co-produce work with international and Australian Companies.

• We support theatre at all levels offering a wider range of opportunities to get involved.

• Our resident amateur theatre company is Red Phoenix Theatre.
