Natalie Morley
CHAIR
Nat Morley brings exceptional leadership and strategic vision from her decades of corporate management experience to her new role as Chair of Holden Street Theatres. Currently working in the commercial creative industry of advertising and media, she was recently integral to the acquisition of local ad agency KWP’s media team by the Australian juggernaut Atomic 212. Nat is known for her collaborative approach, governance skills, passion, and drive, which she is now channelling into fostering our vibrant HST community. Her ability to unite stakeholders and inspire innovation will ensure Holden Street Theatres continues to thrive.

Olesia Armstrong
TREASURER
Olesia is a Chartered Accountant with extensive of experience helping businesses in many industries stay financially strong and resilient. She’s helped businesses navigate everything from cash flow challenges to strategic planning. She really knows how to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. On top of that, she’s passionate about good governance and supporting creative organisations like ours.

Toni Briggs-Brown
BOARD SECTRETARY
Toni has been an entrepreneur long before the word became fashionable. Her career is marked by an incredible ability to think commercially and creatively, turning bold ideas into successful ventures. From leading the Origins brand for Estée Lauder when natural beauty was emerging, launching one of the first online floral businesses, FreshFlowers.com.au, partnering with Qantas to create Qantas Frequent Flowers, at the moment she brings her visionary leadership to Adelaide as the re-founder and owner of TH Brown, Australia’s oldest furniture brand, steering a 100+ year legacy into a new era. Her energy and vision are already changing the way we are working at Holden Street Theatres.

Martha Lott
BOARD MEMBER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR / CEO
Martha leads the organisation’s artistic vision and strategic direction, championing bold independent work and high-quality small-scale theatre.
Martha oversees Holden Street’s year-round program of performances, festivals, and artist development, strengthening partnerships and ensuring the theatres remain welcoming and accessible. As a practising theatre maker and advocate for the arts, she supports work that is adventurous, human, and continues Holden Street Theatres’ award-winning reputation.

Josh Fanning
BOARD MEMBER
Josh Fanning is a writer, advertising creative director, and brand manager. He joins this board having served on the boards of the Art Gallery of South Australia for seven years and the Adelaide Film Festival for six. In the “Netflix and chill” era, Josh will be instrumental in helping Holden Street Theatres define our brand and convince South Australians it’s time to get off the couch and experience some real drama.

Ella Huisman
BOARD MEMBER
Ella Huisman is the Executive Director, Audience at Adelaide Fringe, where she leads the festival’s audience strategy and oversees its Marketing, Digital, and Ticketing teams. A member of the Senior Leadership Team, she drives initiatives that strengthen audience growth, digital innovation, and customer experience across Australia’s largest open-access arts festival.
Ella has led key projects including the overhaul of Fringe’s ticketing and registration systems, CRM integration, and new audience segmentation models — all contributing to record-breaking engagement and accessibility. Recognised as one of South Australia’s 40 Under 40 in 2023, she is known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic vision, and commitment to making the arts more inclusive for all.

Maria Panagiotidis
BOARD MEMBER
An enthusiastic and energetic person, with a powerful smile and a let’s get to it approach, when not presiding over cases in the Magistrates Court, Maria is a strong supporter of the Arts in South Australia. She has served on many professional and not-for-profit organisations over the years and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her current role. Maria’s professional experience is in the law and governance, which is very valuable for the proper function of the Board and the work of HST. She lives in the Western suburbs and has been a long-time audience member at Holden Street before eventually realising her dream of joining the board.

Mark, the Executive Director of State Opera South Australia, joins our Board with a wealth of experience in arts leadership and cultural development. Mark brings deep industry knowledge and a passion for collaboration. His expertise will be instrumental in moving us forward.
