This fresh show gives a thorough examination and update of modern history and how all roads lead to the calamitous misuse of democracy that gave America Trump, and Britain Brexit.

This one man show is a timely look at our times through a modern history prism, a stand up comedian gets serious for once. It will be theatrical, satirical, historical and hysterical.

Gordon Southern is not a stranger to the Fringe, his 2017 hit comedy show 'That's a Fun Fact' had an underlying dark truth that was not so fun. Beginning in the 1980s, the show discussed and created a humour around key world events leading up to the establishment of Trump becoming the US president. Past world events have been so depressing that there was no other option than to make fun of them. If 2018 is anything like 2017, we are in for a treat with Gordon Southern’s ‘Thats A Fact That’s Not Fun’.

For 20 years, Southern has written and performed whip-smart gag-packed stand up. He’s been nominated for six international comedy awards. A consummate pro and highly respected international word clown, a talented performer and award winning writer, his charismatic style will lull you through the uncomfortable history of events that led to Brexit and Trump.
