Table for Two?

Will Tredinnick presents

A mid-range photograph of a young man standing with a stupefied looking expression. He is wearing a soft peach-coloured dress shirt, with a white neck scarf, a white chef beanie, and a brown apron. With arms ready for action, he stands pressed against a half wood panelled wall, with the upper half of the wall covered in extravagant pink flamingo wallpaper. Hanging on the wall to the left of the man is a kitsch painting of a lamb standing on a sofa.

WINNER: BANK SA BEST EMERGING ARTIST AWARD

WEEK 1, ADELAIDE FRINGE 2019

As a dysfunctional restaurant prepares for its grand re-opening, the staff soon realise they might be in for a long night...

A physical comedy, Table for Two? is a 45 minute egg-and-spoon sprint through the underbrush. The stakes are high, the food is tinned and at the end of it, there might be dessert.

A unique theatre experience full of good laughs, terrible table service and more audience participation than you bargained for, Table for Two? takes your order and then forgets it, asks for it again and then loses the docket. From Blumenthalian gastronomic experiments to mixological mishaps, prepare to be whisked off your feet and sieved into a melting pot of characters, calamity and caviar*.

Premiering with a successful season at Sydney Fringe Festival 2018, Table for Two? is the first solo work from NIDA Emerging Artist Award winner, Will Tredinnick.

*all caviar served will be tinned.
