FRINGE 2010

Dear ALL OF YOU,

Please let me use this page for a little while to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this Fringe such a huge success for Holden Street. Congratulations to Heroin(e) for Breakfast and Hayley Shillito for their nominations in the Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Theatre Production & Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Theatre Performer, to The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer for their WIN of the Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Puppetry & to Freefall for their WIN of the Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Circus and a big CONGRATULATIONS to Ross Stanley and all at Arcade Lane for taking out the Best Performing Arts Venue... and of course to all the other winners and nominees.

Heroin(e) for Breakfast sold out and we had to put extra seats in, some lucky viewers got to sit on the edge of the stage and said it was an amazing experience, a scene reminiscent to the old Footlight days. We couldn't have asked for a better Fringe and thanks to the audience for trusting our programming once again. The last few nights were chaos with people scrambling to get the last few tickets to sell out shows at the venue and once again the atmosphere was electric.

Thank you to my team for helping me get through Fringe, APAM, festival and Pregnancy. Adrian Mitton, Allan Webb, Alycia Mellen, Amber McDonald, Amy Moore, Anna Eriksson, Bec Johnston, Cameron Pike, Carolin Korden, Dan Connolley, Diane Lee, Ebony Jones, Ellie Jones, Gabor Torok, Gemma Crosswell, Graeme Gilbert, Graeme Turner, Harnie Kumar, Hayley Argue, Igo Ovia, Isabelle Jakovljevic, Jane Mallyon, Jeff Warner, Karlie Beauchamp, Kirsty McAlpine, Kirsty Walker, Kryshana Ananthan, Lucy Hass-Hennessey, Lyndon Holland, Maddie Du Rieu, Maria de Ionna, Matthew Harris, Megan Huitema, Mithra Thangavelu, Monique Strittmatter, Naomi Russell, Nick Moore, Noola Boyaci, Pamela Diakos, Sarah Martin, Scott Edwards, Shari Rankine, Sholto Bruce, Tony Moore, Vishny Velavan and Yasmin Saunders. A special thanks to Lyndon for looking after the Cast of Heroin(e) and showing them around town.

Thanks to the Shows that make the Program SOOOOO GOOOOOOD..... 1 Camera, Be Your Age… or bust, First Scene Last Seen, Freefall, Goat Town, Heroin(e) for Breakfast, iExist.com, King Lear, Nobody Cares But You, Peeled, The Removalists, Rhinoceros, Single Admissions, The Adventures of Alvin Sputnik: Deep Sea Explorer, The Small Poppies Don't Care that the End of the World is Nigh, Vari-A-Tease

Thank you to the Media and the Guests at Media Day that help spread the word from early on especially the ACArts Students and teachers that support us every year. Thank you to Neil Ward our Publicist, Orbit Design and Print Solutions and to Poster Impact and Passing Out for getting the information to everyone, everywhere.

Next year guys....

Thanks to the Adelaide Fringe Inc and the Edinburgh Fringe Society for embracing the Holden Street Theatres Edinburgh Award and for all the help we recieve with that and to Paul Lucas and Richard Jordan for their help with the final judging. Thanks to the venues in Edinburgh for letting us in to see the shows and making it all possible.

Thank you to all our family and friends for understanding why you don't hear from us, why we don't call or visit in this mad month.

FINALLY... The biggest thanks to you the PATRONS. You keep us going and make it all worth while. I really hope to see you through the year and next Fringe at the theatre and please let your friends know so we can continue to bring you the good stuff.

A big and important List.
