Concrete Solace is a work by Melbourne's youngest dance company Phantom Limbs, comprised of James Welsby and Amy Macpherson. Concrete Solace is their first work and will premiere at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Concrete Solace portrays two people, amid a miniature sized city. In their quest to influence and control their environment their attachments and relationship to the city become revealed. This work explores themes of urban parallelism as well as both macroscopic and microscopic perspective distortion. Abstraction is heavily used as a tool to bring forth metaphors for humans and the cities we inhabit.
