is a recently formed collaboration between seven accomplished young South Australian artists. They have been performing together for over five years under the guidance of 'Cirkidz' artistic direction and aim to create a unique form of circus theatre capitalising on their strong repertoire of skill and performance language.

Six of the performers are current members of the Senior Cirkidz Performing Troupe while the other is a troupe graduate who has continued on to professional performance. Over the past years they have formed a strong artistic relationship attending training workshops at 'Circus Oz', 'Flying Fruit Fly’s Circus' and the 'Tasmanian Circus Festival' as well as performing together during the recent 'Cirkidz' productions of 'Connected' and 'Freaky'.

Having already matured past simple skill based circus, 'Gravity & Other Myths' aims to challenge the perception of creativity by young people by producing truly artful and professional works of contemporary circus. With inspiration from progressive companies such as Sydney’s 'Legs on the Wall', Brisbane’s 'Circa', Canadian 'Les 7 Doigts de la Main' and Melbourne’s 'This Side Up' they hope to move beyond traditional circus and youth circus stereotypes to create engaging work that will both challenge and inspire audiences.
