Be Your Age... or bust
presented by The Royal Adelaide Universtity Old Footlights Club

COMEDY (SA)

After sell-out 06 & 08 seasons these mature stirrers are doing it for the last time. Reviving glorious University Revue tradition of 80 years, they romp through the night with music, biting satire and that wry look at life only advanced years can provide. Watch out.."No politician or institution is safe"...

2010 ADELAIDE FRINGE REVIEWS

**** 4 STARS

THE ADVERTISER - Louise Nunn.

SINCE the Footlights revue tradition has been lost in today's mire of student debts, its sentimental revival in 2006 was rather a hit. This prompted these old Footlighters from the 40s through to the 60s to make a serious effort at their funny business.

They return with zippy, new, topical material from legendary writers such as Trevor Farrant. Malcolm Elliot has directed them into a fast and furious hour.

Beloved troupers such as Wayne Anthoney, Bob Lott, John McGowan, Jeff Scott, Kitty Peake, Phil Grummet, Andy Ligertwood, Makr Coleman, John Bishop, Meredith Bowman, Margie Hill and Michael Johnston excel themselves. Everyone laughs and groans and screams for more more more.

Next, methinks, this cult hit wonder of aging excellents need a TV series!

In short: Credits and distinctions.
