Holden Street is located at 34 Holden Street Hindmarsh, next to the Hindmarsh Soccer Stadium. Holden Street is between Manton and Adam Sts and we have our own car park so as well as free on street parking there is FREE PARKING off street as well.

Yes. The Holden Street Theatre Company Inc produces the In-House productions and the co-productions. We have Urban Myth Theatre Of Youth and The Chalk Farm Theatre as resident theatre companies. We are happy to discuss residency of groups for both short term and long term contracts.

No, we welcome all levels and types of performance. The hire is not expensive, however we are happy to review the hire costs for charity organisations and youth groups.

The Holden Street initiative came as a direct result of the Chalk Farm Theatres production of I Know What You Want in the Adelaide Fringe 2002 and the experience of building a venue to house three shows in the one space to save money for the groups. Martha Lott felt there should be more affordable space available in Adelaide to encourage artists to embark on new developments and promote the growth of theatre in SA.
