The Box

The Box is both the lounge bar and foyer for the shows in The Studio and The Arch and is ideal for in-between show drinks or somewhere to catch up after the show.  

The Box can be used as a performance space for smaller shows, stand up comedy, cabaret or dining and can seat up to 80 depending on the set up.  The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable with jazzy lounge suites and groovy art on the walls.

Guy's bar is named after the patron saint of Actors, Dizzy Spells, Storms and Falling asleep while standing up, perfect for a bar in a theatre we thought.

The Box can be used as a space on its own and hired out separately as an Art Gallery, Function Centre, Dining Room, Film Screening or Presentation Area. As all the Furniture can be removed so the possibilities are endless.

The stage in ‘The Box’ is dependent on if you use the rostra or a flat floor.

If a flat floor is used then the stage area can be any size up to 5m x 5m, this of course affects capacity.

If Rostra are used then the stage size will be dependent on the configuration of the Rostra.

-         Cabaret 60 (With chairs and tables only).
-         Lounge 50+ (Lounge chairs and coffee tables and some standing room tables around the walls).
-         Small theatre 80 (With theatre seating on the flat).
