Prospero the Magician, from Shakespeare's play "The Tempest", invites you to spend an enchanted hour with him in his island hideaway laboratory, as he demonstrates his conjuring skills. He is assisted by his cousin Miranda and Caliban his slave. Magic, music,mystery and merriment.

Wayne Anthoney has devised a new theatrical entertainment, suitable for adults and children alike, drawing on his many years' experience as a magician, character actor and comedian.

In this production he blends classical magic and illusions with images of Prospero, one of Shakespeare's most enigmatic characters. Marooned on an enchanted island for some twenty years, Prospero honed and developed his magical skills and powers, with none but his Miranda and Caliban for company.

Wayne was recently seen in the role of Prime Minister Stalk, in Rolf de Heer's comedy "Dr. Plonk" and, in October, as Uncle Sam the Chauffeur, in Floogle Theatre Company's brilliant production of "The Homecoming ".
